Seif Ziwar’s career started with his remix of David Guetta’s very own Love is Gone, in the year 2008 the song was a big hit and one of Seif’s favorites so he was on a quest to remix it. After a whole summer of working when winter of 2009 came around the remix was finally finished. Then came the Mashup of DJ Antione’s This Time. Both works were a really big hit at Seif’s high school which led to a career in DJing.
He then Started to preform at his school in the schools traditional “Lunch Time Concerts” which had an audience of around a 100 people. Ever since that ‘gig’ Seif Ziwar knew that there was nothing else he would rather do in his life. As time went by many Mashups followed as well as gigs.
Another landmark was reached in 2009 with the release of Seif Ziwar’s first ever production, which was called “What If” with the vocals of a very talented classmate, Omneya Maklouf. One of Seif’s colleagues and friends, Ryan McGrath, has done an amazing remix for it. Then again the year 2011 goes in the books as a big year for Seif Ziwar with his killer Pressure mashup to the 2nd place winner of the pioneer ME under 21 competition to playing in a world record set that featured over 85 local dubai DJs in a world record attempt for longest DJ set.
”For me, my sets reflect my moods, its all up to you (the DJ), its what you see, your vision, it gives you the freedom to express yourself and get that deep meaning behind the music and I find that one of life’s greatest wonders.”
